Fuel Surge tank with Twin Fuel Pumps bracket

Fuel surge tank with support for installation of one or two internal fuel pumps.

Capacity: 2.8L in 1-pump configuration, 2.6L in dual-pump configuration

Support for Ø39/40mm petrol pumps, perfect for our Walbro 255, 450 or 535lph pumps. Also compatible with certain Deatchwerks (9-101 / 9-301) and AEM (50-1000 / 50-1200) pumps.

Outlets and returns on the tank are ORB8. We supply the necessary fittings for your assembly, so please leave us a comment with details of what you need. (Fittings available: Ø8mm (for conventional fuel hose), AN6, AN8, AN10, also possible to supply the Y to connect the outputs of the 2 pumps in AN6 / AN8 / AN10 on request.

This type of assembly can be installed on a vehicle with modest power but which tends to lift off the ground easily, right up to the most extreme applications with a dual-pump 535lph setup for crazy power.

The tank is sold on its own with or without the fuel pumps, and the carbon plate with the external pump support is an example of a possible, clean installation.

The main function of a fuel surge tank is to ensure a constant supply of fuel to the engine, even in extreme driving conditions. It ensures that the high-pressure pump(s) always have a sufficient quantity of fuel to send to the engine. This prevents fuel supply interruptions caused by sudden movements of fuel in the main tank (fuel starvation) and ensures a constant supply of fuel to the engine, even during sporty driving or on a racetrack.
